George Frudakis is a Builder/Developer, licensed general contractor in both Florida and California.
George is a certified, licensed Class “A” Contractor in the state of Florida. He has vast experience of over 32 years in the construction industry. He was born in San Francisco, California and now resides in Sarasota, Florida.
George founded and owned Gaff Construction in 1978 in Long Beach, California, then changed to Gaff Group, Inc. in 1996. It was later sold in 2001. Mr. Frudakis was the Chief Executive Officer and President of the company until he sold the company and remained as a consultant to Gaff Group, Inc. until 2005. The construction division at Gaff group was composed of an impeccable team that effectively scheduled and efficiently coordinated skilled contractors that provided the highest grade of construction, materials, and craftsmanship possible. In 2009, GAFCO, Inc. was formed with his wife, Helene Frudakis, as a woman-owned corporation with minority status to increase the amount of government projects that we have had the opportunity to partner with in the past. Helene is also a Licensed Real Estate Broker and owns a full-service real estate brokerage in Lakewood Ranch, Florida.
GAFCO has the ability to complete any project, from the planning, to in-house architectural design to final completion. Some of the high-quality projects that George Frudakis has completed in the past include: Raytheon, Boeing, Mattel, Direct TV, Tropicana, State College of Florida, just to name a few.

George strongly believes that field management skills are the key to a successful general contracting company and he has demonstrated his expertise and extensive knowledge of these skills for over three decades.

George is well known and highly respected in the industry. He believes in giving back to the local community and has donated his services to the Boys Club of America by volunteering their time, labor and materials to improve their facilities.
Mr. Frudakis has earned several degrees, including marketing, economics and geography from California State University of Long Beach. He graduated on the Dean’s List in 1972.
